Journaling

I have started a new blog that is going to be used solely as my journal.
Read if you would like.
Don't read if you don't care.
Enjoy. (or don't)

Dylan

What a handsome little boy.

Dylan has started doing chores around the house to earn privileges.
Wow... I can't wait till the other two are old enough for this stuff!!!
What a great concept!
Kids doing housework... genius.
He has also started helping with the laundry and setting the table for dinner.

And always doing it while in costume.

Liam

Liam is a character.

He is my "opportunity for parental growth"

He knows what sets me off, knows how to drive me crazy, knows how to keep me laughing, and definitely knows how to work his uncontrollable adorableness.

He loves super heroes.
Here  superman is showing off his super strength by
"lifting a ladder with mine own two hands"

And here doing the same thing with a chair.
Wow... he is strong, no?

Super Boy

One of my concerns with Liam, lately.....

he wants to be a baby again.
including wanting to wear diapers for fun.
crawling around the house.
and mimicking whatever Madeline does to get the same attention.

Hmmm.... wonder why that is...

6 Months Old and So Many New Things!!!

6 Months Old!

Here is our big girl just after a bath.
She is no longer able to squeeze into 3-6 month clothing!!
So much attitude!

She spends a lot of time rolling around on the ground and playing with toys.

She has started sitting UP in the bath tub and
likes to play with all of her princesses while bathing.

We had to move all of the boy's toys out of the family room because Madeline is
ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!

Rolling...

And even on her hands and knees, "rocking" back and forth.

She is sitting up all on her own.

Loves her toys...

And makes a lot of funny faces.

We even got her first ponytail in the other night....

She didn't enjoy it much.

But she eventually decided it wasn't so bad.

Kindergarten

Somehow 5 years have FLOWN by and now my baby boy is starting kindergarten.
He was VERY excited.
Dylan was looking forward, mostly, to wearing his new shoes, backpack, lunch box and astronaut shirt to school.
(he has carried around his new shoes, inside their box, around the house since we bought them 4 days ago... Including the dinner table and bed!)
I have a feeling this will be a great year.
I am so proud of him!!!!
