5 Months Old and Rolling Over

Madeline recently hit the 5 month old marker.

She has started rolling over and has become quite good at it.

She also has started scooting towards things that interest her (her brother's toys).

She sleeps through the night.

She is just the sweetest little baby and we love every minute of having her in our family.

Swim Lessons

Dylan and Liam recently finished their swim lessons at Jan Thomas Swim School.

They LOVED it!

Dylan mastered strokes, including backstroke and breaststroke.

Liam learned how to roll from his stomach to his back to take breaths and was able to swim across the pool all by himself.

They took underwater photos...

And had an awards ceremony at their last lesson where they both received a blue ribbon and a gold medal.

And they got to go down the big slide on the last day!

Goodbye

Good bye good old duck chair.

You have been good to us.

We purchased you when we were poor.

You survived 5 years and 3 kids.

You only cost $15 at Walmart.

You are the only baby item to last through all 3 kids.

You do not vibrate anymore.

You still come clean after a run through a washing machine.

Many a baby have eaten in you.

Rocked in you.

Cried in you.

We will miss you.

Mady is too big for you now, but you will always have a place in our hearts.

Eating Solid Foods

Madeline is getting bigger every day.

She has started eating her solid foods.

I homemade some baby food.

She loved it!

She is an eater, for sure!

(just count the rolls on her thighs, or take a look at her knee flaps and you can see how much she loves to eat!)
