Dylan Best came into this world on this day in 2004.

He was 2 weeks early and only 5 lbs. 11oz.

He was tiny, but he had HUGE personality.

He was a little surprise bundle in my life, but I would not have changed a thing.

He is always surprising me with how intelligent he is and how sensitive he is.

We love you, Dylan!!

On this day in 2006, little Liam Best came into the world.
He came into our lives 20 minutes before midnight
(20 minutes before his brother's birthday, too)

He was sweet from day one.
And my world has never been the same.

The Best Birthday

Birthday Party Time!!!

Dylan and Liam had a Firetruck themed birthday party today and it was a lot of fun!

For those who are confused... my children's birthdays are exactly ONE day apart, so we have a joint birthday party every year. Dylan turns 4 and Liam turns 2!

A special thanks to Grandma for making this birthday party EXTRA special!!

We had a fire truck birthday cake!

A Spiderman bounce house

The kids definitely enjoyed this!

And the Visalia Fire Department showed up with a fire truck!

The kids got to climb in....

And practice driving....

And look at all the equipment....

The Fire Truck was a lot of fun....

The kids were able to shoot the water hose....

The kids were taking in every minute of it....

Thanks for coming to our birthday party! We had a great time!

Disneyland and such...

We went to Disneyland with Trent's family this week....

Here are the kids with Trent's brother and sisters (and Mickey).

Trevor is 12, Taylor is 10, and Victoria is 4

And, another new development is that good ol' Spiderman has been replaced!!!

(I am secretly a little happy about this! shhh!)

Toy Story, or "Woody's Buzz" as Liam calls it, is a new favorite in the Best household

The boys got new Woody dolls at Disneyland and haven't let them go since......

Liam still gives Buzz a little attention, too.

While in Disneyland, we came out of the gift shop in Frontierland and ran into this singing cowboy! He was hilarious and he sang a little song about Woody's Round-up for the boys.

Then we got to take a picture with him (and Woody).

This cowboy was AWESOME!!!
